A recent report published by a leading Higher Education think tank in the UK suggests that, “the absence of readily available information about the sector means that access routes to people and expertise in UK universities (for international clients) are reportedly slow, diverse and not transparent […].” (Million+, 2009)1
Oxford Educational Dynamics recognises that for international education providers seeking to partner with UK Higher Education providers and other professional awarding bodies ‘accessing’ the right information is essential in starting this process. However, the complexity and challenge of the process does not end there.
Increasing many non-award bearing educational centres are `franchising in` awards from other institutions. While `franchising in` is a cost effective means of providing a good quality degree to students, the reality is that the centre in question must comply fully with the award bearing institution’s policies, procedures and quality assurance structures both before and after the validation process. With over 25 years experience in the provision of educational services, Oxford Educational Dynamics can assist centres with the preparation of documentation (including module descriptors, centre policies) for the validation process and then ensure that the centre is capable of compliance with the procedures and structures of the validation institution in the first year of execution of the degree. Oxford Education Dynamics will work with international education providers to:
- Identify the appropriate UK provider with which to partner
- Assist in the development of the initial approach to the UK provider
- Develop the programme and related materials to meet the validation/accreditation requirements of the UK provider
- Prepare for the validation/accreditation event
- Ensure successful delivery of (typically) the first year of the programme to partner/awarding body standards
Our team have extensive experience in the field of Business Education combined with significant international exposure which has resulted in validation and accreditation success for all our existing clients.
